He who promised is faithful. Whatever he has promised you he will bring it to pass. Sometimes it may seem like it may not come but believe him, it will come to pass in his timing. Wait on him and never ever give up on the vision he gave you.

Beauty for Ashes Ministry, Inc. was birthed in 2007 through the Reverend Marguerite Lee. Licensed to teach and preach by Mount Carmel Baptist Church and ordained by The Mecklenburg General Baptist Association. Rev. Lee is active in her local church. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johnson C. Smith University, Master of Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Master of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary and is a Board Certified Christian Counselor. Combining her educational background, theological training and passion for helping persons heal from the ashes of abuse she feels compelled to impact social change as it relates to domestic violence and those affected by it.
By advocating for victims, supporting survivors and facilitating trainings for clergy and others in the faith community the ministry aims to create safe environments where persons in abusive relationships and those who have escaped will feel comfortable in disclosing and find appropriate resources that will lead to healing and wholeness.
Rev. Lee continues to involve herself in trainings and community activities that give greater insight into the many aspects of domestic violence and encourages members of the board of directors to do the same. Her domestic violence background includes employment at a local agency where she counseled women, conducted support groups, facilitated awareness workshops and education classes for incarcerated women. The learning is on-going and an asset in her role as director of Beauty for Ashes Ministry, Inc.
